How do you launch an organic brand into a saturated market without blending in?

For Organic Herd, the challenge was clear: take a B2B organic dairy brand and make it work in a crowded, fast-moving consumer space. We were launching 14 new products, so this wasn’t just a visual refresh - it was about building a scalable brand system that could hold together across packaging, messaging, and campaign.

I worked closely with the team to develop a packaging framework that avoided the usual organic clichés. Instead of leaning into soft, predictable design, we took cues from challenger brands - particularly in the vegan space - bringing more energy, confidence and personality into the category.

Alongside this, we shaped a tone of voice that felt playful but purposeful. That carried through everything - from product naming and pack copy to photography, film and social content. The aim was consistency without repetition, and personality without losing credibility.

The work extended across the full customer journey: packaging, digital campaigns, social, and media placements. Every touchpoint was designed to grab attention, hold it, and make the brand feel distinct. The result is a brand that feels fresh, confident and commercially effective - one that stands out on shelf and performs in market.
